minute of it. I started nursing school this September, and while I have
been very busy, I've been able to sneak some moments and enjoy
my favorite season in New England.
A few weekends ago I attended the Harvest Cranberry Festival in
Wareham. It was a beautiful day filled with autumn foods (think
cider donuts, oysters, stuffed quahogs, chowder, apple pie), live
music, and cranberry harvesting in the bogs (hence the name).
It was very cool to see how cranberries are gathered and processed,
and it was nice just to spend the day outside with my mom and Doug.
This past weekend for my birthday, a few of my favorite girlfriends
took me to one of my favorite places for my birthday--Nashoba Valley
Winery
We had a wonderful time wine tasting and admiring the central MA
foliage from the wrap around porch. Only 45 minutes from Boston,
I'd highly recommend a visit.
Thanks ladies for a wonderful time!
Happy Fall ya'll!
