Well hello there, it's been quite awhile. I'm sorry for the lack of posting, but I've had a lot going on the month of March. I got accepted into school (who'da thunk it), I celebrated a fabulous St. Paddy's Day weekend, I took on a new morning babysitting job, I caught up on school work (much needed), and I enjoyed the start of nice weather. It was a good month.

Anywho! Two weeks ago to celebrate one of my favorite times of the year--Boston Restaurant Week--I went with my girlfriends to Henrietta's Table in Cambridge. If you haven't been, definitely make a visit. It's like eating inside a Pottery Barn, or on a Diane Keaton filmset. Very cozy, cottage-chic.

The menu was very earthy and vibrant, with dishes like maple smoked duck breast with roasted native pears, and seared golden quinoa polenta cakes with heirloom beans and roasted carrots. Not to mention, they had desserts involving the amazing Mexican chocolate brand Taza (out of Somerville, check it out!), it's one of my favorites. Oh yeah, and how could I forget...

The infamous H.T. Greyhound cocktail, which they serve in mason jars. For whatever reason, I think everything tastes better out of a mason jar (or at least it's fun drinking out of one). The H.T. Greyhound is their signature drink made from grapefruit-infused vodka, sparkling wine, St. Germain liquor, and a splash of grapefruit juice. It's refreshing and potent. Totally worth it.

A wonderful spring dinner with some wonderful friends. Henrietta's Table was so cute, and the meal was fantastic. I can't wait to return for brunch.
