We met freshman year in Mulledy 3 East,
I didn't think you liked me at first in the least.
But after a few weeks, our friendship bloomed
Probably due to our love of fun and white wine, I assumed.
Turns out there was way more that connected us two,
And look at us now--good friends stuck like glue!
From the Mens Club to Clark 2,
Then off-campus and to the "Town",
When I'm hanging with you I never frown.
We've vacationed together in all sorts of styles,
From Cabo's gorgeous beaches to Cow Island's hay piles.
And while we had fun in all the places we saw,
Nothing will ever quite compare to our time at Mardi Gras.
And even when I think about the good times just in our place,
It always brings a big smile right to my face.
Between Girl Power nights, Friendsmas, or deep chats on the couch,
Living with anyone else would make me a grouch!
I don't know what I would've done without you these past five years,
You've listened to my rants and you've helped dry my tears.
You've courageously battled "morning Kendra" to help get me up in the A.M.,
You've cheered me on as I mustered through MCAT bio, and organic chem.
Most importantly, you've always been there,
With your big heart of gold and your shiny blonde hair.
Kristen, I can't thank you enough for all that you've done,
Being friends with you has been so much fun.
Now enough of this poem, it's time to celebrate and play,
Happy Birthday to you on this very special day!
xoxo
