Closet Envy

The home of one of my favorite bloggers, Peppermint Bliss, was recently featured in Rue Magazine. Her Chicago townhouse is fabulous (see here), but the best part of all? Her closet. She has a closet that rivals Carrie's in Sex and the City. It's bright, organized, and just plain awesome. I would love to spend the day playing dress-up in there.

Look at how pretty it all looks! Now, let's look at my closet:

Not so nice. My closet needs major sprucing. While I don't have the space in my tiny Boston apartment to build a gorgeous walk-in, I found some Peppermint Bliss-inspired pieces I can add to give my closet a makeover:

 I think two of these together would hold all my shoes and make the floor of my closet less chaotic:

Since my room has a blue and white color scheme, I think a light yellow would add a sunny splash of color.

Fixing up this closet will be my new mission after I take the MCAT. I think the first step to beautifying my pig pen will be to go through and sort my clothing. I cant wait for the warmer weather to arrive so I can send those winter sweaters into storage. Do you have any other suggestions for me? I'll take any! My closet needs all the help it can get!
