It's the Weekend.

Sadly, the weekend is almost over. I've been so busy lately between work and studying that I haven't had too much time to post. I promise to be better! Anyway, I hope you all have had exciting Friday and Saturday plans. If you aren't too burnt out from gallivanting around the city that past two nights, here are some things to do this Sunday:

1. Have brunch at Mistral; 223 Columbus Ave. This swanky eatery hosts a decadent brunch on Sunday mornings. I went here with my girlfriends the morning following my birthday celebration in the fall. It was amazing. Their muffins are heavenly, sticky buns gooey and warm (they are baked-to-order), and their ricotta omelet is perfection. If you're feeling a little posh this Sunday, head here.

2. Do some yoga. It's a great activity for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. South Boston Yoga offers an Aerial/Swing yoga class where you use silk swings to perform various moves that work your core. A friend of mine recently tried this interesting yoga technique and loved it. Sweat and Soul Yoga in Allston has a hip hop yoga class where you practice yoga to good hip hop tunes.

3. Take advantage of Boston Restaurant Week. Starting tomorrow, the city's restaurants offer prix-fixe meals for $33. This is an excellent time to try those places you've always wanted to go to but can't afford. This week I'm headed to Grotto with my roommate and Morton's with my boyfriend (owed him a steak dinner after losing a bet). Where will you go?

4. Take a bubble bath. This is my absolute favorite way to end any Sunday (well, any day of the week actually). Bring a good book, a soothing cup of tea, and light a sweet scented candle. Voila! Instant relaxation.

Happy Sunday :)

Kendra
